OUR STORY
How it started...
In 2018, Shaka Surf School was founded at Guincho Beach by Vasco Simas. His passion for the ocean and dedication to teaching set him off on a mission to guide you through the journey of catching and riding waves.
An old van started to get all the attention at the entrance of the beach. And from there, we've been growing and developing a deeper connection with the ocean and nature around us.
How it's going...
The old van is gone, but the mission remains the same. It's 2025, and Shaka took it to the next level, getting a privileged spot at Guincho and opening a new branch of the school on the other side of Lisbon, at Caparica.
Better conditions, more services available, a wider range of premium equipment, and carefully selected certified instructors for a non-stop growing community.
